H-wing : advanced drone system

Abstract

The objective of this thesis was to design a scaled down version of the H-wing drone and use cheaper, more commercially available parts. A key outcome of the design is for the speed and acrobatic testing of early iterations of this scaled down version. A secondary focus was for the future development of a projectile system for animal sedation. The results from the calculations and simulations show this design is viable to fly, but further optimization iterations are required to progress with the development.
