The overall purpose of this thesis was to understand how the Control Tower team at Posti leads the organizations with data-driven cross-functional skills. However, the team was closed midway through the study. Idea was to enhance the efficiency in supply chain and improve supply chain management. This thesis aimed at enhancing existing knowledge on data management, analytics, and decision-making for the Control Tower team. Another source of information for the thesis includes several interviews and their detailed analysis both in terms of challenges and improvement areas. This includes a wide interview for the tools and data processes. The knowledge sharing and collaboration among different divisions of Posti were also measured. Following which several recommendations were made to facilitate cooperation between different divisions. The data from the results revealed that there are obvious growth areas for the better development of data management and analytics in Posti. In conclusion, the thesis argues that there is a strong correlation between the effectiveness of data-driven practices and the establishment of efficient working processes. It has provided valuable information and suggestions that can be used for future work and strategies.
