Tiivistelmä
The goal of this thesis is to create a workshop that provides specialized science education to students from junior high school. The thesis is made for Junior University and the research is used in future workshops conducted by them.
The workshop topic is about boolean algebra and logic gates. The key idea is that students would learn the basics of binary numbers, how and why computers use transistors, how logic gate’s function and how to create logic gates using breadboards. The workshop was made using tools like Solidworks, Falstad, Tinkercad and Minecraft.
The Pilot workshop was successful, and the work will be used later when new workshops are conducted. Improvements to workshop have been found and the changes will be implemented.
