In order to deliver competitive solutions, which enhance the long-term benefit of the customers, contract management processes are created. These processes are guideline for personnel and activities to follow. There are different processes for different phases of the contract like planning, operation and review phases. For contract management to be effective, several mandatory documents are needed. With the help of a web-based application, these documents can be managed more efficiently.
The aim of this thesis is to develop a model for a web-based service to manage mandatory documents. The service will help to improve the current Contract Man agement Tool (CMT). For better integration, the model of the service will use the same technology as the CMT, which was mainly programmed using the PHP language and Oracle SQL database for storing the data.
