Planetary gearbox design : practical design of an electric race bike gearbox

Abstract

This thesis focuses on describing process of designing a gearbox, its conclusion should be a functioning gearbox mounted on the Ukkonen V3 motorcycle.

The thesis will go through conceptual design, selection process, basic calculations, manufacturing and basic stand and field testing.
