Tiivistelmä
At a small-scale solar energy is by far the most used source of energy, compared to that wind energy is not used at all. This thesis is targets to broaden the use of wind energy, with a particular focus on their application in residential settings.
The primary goal of this research is to design a Small Wind Turbine (SWT) ready for manufacturing, and suitable residential use in Finland, taking into account the specific climate and weather conditions of the region. Additionally, this research involves identifying commercially available parts that meet project requirements and selecting appropriate materials, manufacturing techniques, and installation methods for the SWT.
By addressing these objectives, this thesis aims to contribute to the advancement of renewable energy technologies, specifically in the context of residential wind power solutions.
