This thesis explores the important role of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design in developing customer engagement, specifically focusing on the Voice Chat mobile application. Nowadays, in the digital world where user-centric design is the crucial key, businesses are pushed to build engaging experiences for users that foster meaningful experiences and customer loyalty. Through a comprehensive case study of a voice chat mobile application developed during the internship at Happy Coding, an IT consulting company, this research analyses the impact of UX/UI on customer engagement, usability, and customer satisfaction.
The thesis began with the theoretical part including UX/UI design principles and customer engagement theories. Utilizing the empirical data gathered from user interviews, surveys, and usability tests, the study analysed customer engagement, including customer satisfaction levels, usability rating, and engagement metrics. The findings from the study show that good UX/UI design has a vital role to play in enhancing customer engagement. Furthermore, positive feedback from customers emphasizes the importance of intuitive navigation, interaction in driving engagement.
The thesis concludes with a suggestion for businesses looking to improve customer engagement through UX/UI in voice chat applications, emphasizing the essential of user-centric design and continuous iteration. By prioritizing the UX/UI design principles and leveraging the understanding from the research, businesses can improve customer engagement, drive customer loyalty, and achieve their business objective in the digital world.
