The Thesis was ordered by Aktion Pohjanmaa Ry which supplies some ways to internationalize in creative business especially in the advertising- and photographing business. This contains EUfinancing and LEADER-project. LEADER tries to upgrade the living conditions in the areas out-oftown and in the country side.
The topic of the thesis was ways to internationalize in creative business in Jakobstad and the product was an advertising photo. The research question was: "What should Aktion Pohjanmaa Ry do so that even more small entrepreneurs in the creative business would be encouraged to internationalize." The aim of the thesis was to find some organizations and enterprises which would help small entrepreneurs to go on international markets.
The theory in this thesis is based on different areas of advertising, photographing and creative business. The study was made by using qualitative method. The research material was collected by doing six theme interviews and the interviewees were the contact persons from the different organisations in international and in creative business.
The research showed that there are several organizations in Jakobstad which make possible internationalism in creative business, especially if the target group is small enterprises. It also showed that the ways to internationalize in Jakobstad are not the same as for example in metal industry.
