Tiivistelmä
The thesis investigates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Germany, France, and the UK, focusing on its overall impact. Commissioned by Company X, a marketing agency in Finland, the study aims to provide insights into AI marketing within Europe. Although Company X has no plans to expand beyond Finland, it seeks new perspectives to stay competitive in the evolving industry. The research starts with a literature review covering AI definitions, components, and associated risks and challenges. It also discusses the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its relevance to AI. A key part of the thesis is a SWOT analysis, examining the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to AI in the three countries. The study explores recent AI developments in Germany, France, and the UK, highlighting the market impact, risks, and ethical considerations. It emphasizes the importance of careful AI implementation and adherence to laws and ethical standards. The SWOT analysis focuses on each country’s AI strategies, government funding, and implementation plans. Germany, France, and the UK are integrating AI through national strategies. Germany focuses on manufacturing, France on research and innovation, and the UK on global leadership. Each faces challenges like skill gaps, ethical concerns, and rapid tech changes. The long-term economic impact of AI remains uncertain, but it is expected to boost their economies. The dynamic nature of AI means some data may become outdated quickly, and certain topics require further dedicated research.
