Finland is gradually becoming a hot spot for start-ups, where new business ideas are nurtured and realized in a dynamic and friendly environment. Therefore, this report aims to plan beauty salon in Helsinki, with the highlight being serving Vietnamese snacks. To get the foundation for a successful start-up, this thesis report conducts a study on factors that influence start-ups such as customer age, customer desires, product price, social media, and factors that influence customer purchasing decisions. Qualitative method is used to analyse data, in which the sample size includes 50 participants. The results show that customers are willing to choose beauty services combined with Vietnamese foods.
More importantly, the review factor is an important one for customers to decide to choose the services of the beauty salon. The findings are employed for launching a beauty salon. Then, the purpose of this study report is to explore essential elements needed for a business plan in opening an original beauty salon only found in Helsinki. The report covers all essentials elements of a business plan, including business idea, strategic planning, business sustainability, marketing plan, financial plan, risks and risk management, PESTEL analysis, and SWOT analysis. The result is a detailed business plan for a beauty salon for women in Helsinki. This document is intended to be a valuable resource for us as well as future entrepreneurs.
