The objective of the thesis is to investigate and clarify the complex role of nurses in promoting awareness of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) among female teenagers and women of reproductive age. Through comprehensive research and analysis, the thesis aims to provide nurses with a thorough understanding of their crucial roles in PCOS awareness. Therefore, nurses are equipped with the adequate knowledge and competent skills to effectively empower individuals in understanding and managing PCOS, thereby enhancing women's health outcomes and well-being.
The thesis applied a literature review methodology as the primary method to investigate the topic. Utilizing reliable sources collected from scholarly sources such as Pub-Med, Google Scholar, and other academic databases, evidence – based articles relevant keyword phrases are identified with high accuracy to ensure comprehensive/diversified/broad-minded coverage of the topic. After gathering appropriate literature, data synthesis and analysis are conducted to identify key themes, trends, and insights regarding nurses' roles in PCOS’s awareness.
Finally, a comprehensive summary is formulated based on the synthesized data, providing a thoughtful understanding of the topic and guiding future research and nursing practice in the specific area.
