Tiivistelmä
The integration of foreign HOMA graduates into the Finnish hospitality sector is examined in this thesis, emphasizing the opportunities, challenges, and contributions of this group. The study aims to understand the difficulties and obstacles encountered by foreign HOMA graduates trying to integrate into the Finnish hospitality sector, investigate their contributions to the country's economy and society, pinpoint the opportunities accessible to them, and examine the role played by universities in facilitating their integration.
The study intends to get insights into the integration process through semi-structured interviews with university teachers and international graduates. Additionally, online job portals have been analyzed. A thematic analysis of the qualitative data is carried out to find trends, themes, and revelations connected to the study topics.
The results may help academic institutions, decision-makers, and industry participants create plans for enhancing HOMA graduates' assimilation into the Finnish hospitality sector.
