The e-commerce industry in Vietnam has gone through profound changes during the last decade with the evolution of technology and social media. This study explores the influence of Instagram on the e-commerce industry, with a specific focus on the target audience of Generation Z
This study utilizes a mixed-method research approach that combines both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The primary data will be collected through surveys and the secondary data will be gathered from various sources, including books, websites, and statistics.
The study suggests some of the biggest changes social media has had on the e-commerce industry include businesses starting to use social media platforms instead of the traditional commercials. Instead of online stores, Gen Z have started to use social media like Instagram to purchase items.
