Tiivistelmä
The aim of the thesis is to find out if work well-being increases in hybrid work. The thesis begins with research on the topic, focusing the research on remote work. In addition, researching and defining work well-being as it is a complex topic with many of different aspects that affect it, such as work-life balance, job satisfaction and relationships.

To find out if work well-being increases in hybrid work, a questionnaire was carried out. The participants who responded to the survey all work in hybrid jobs and most of them were under the age of 45, therefore the findings in this thesis are based on younger perspectives and preferences.

The key finding was that the most important aspects of well-being valued by employees are work-life balance, trust, health, and a reasonable workload. All of these were mentioned in the literature studies, although they were not highlighted in them. In general, most aspects of well-being seem to increase with hybrid work, except for social relationships at work which is negatively affected. Another important finding is that most of the participants agree that their work well-being has increased in hybrid work.

It could be argued that hybrid work in general increases well-being at work. The main advantage of hybrid work is that the employee can, for the most part, always choose where to work, which can increase work well-being, productivity and, to some extent, work engagement. However, it is difficult to assess the effects of hybrid work on overall work well-being, as people value each aspect of well-being differently.
