Being a liquid containing high various pollutants, industrial wastewater may not only lead to environmental pollution, but also decreases the utilization ratio of raw material. Therefore, experts have paid attention to developing new technologies for industrial wastewater treatment. This thesis is a study of wastewater treatment technologies based on analyzing the sources and components of industrial wastewater. Particularly, the thesis deals with targeted methods used to treat several main pollutants that are found in industrial wastewater commonly.
This study was conducted by searching for information on industrial wastewater treatment. The report has four main chapters: industrial wastewater sources, components of industrial wastewater, treatment technologies and practical examples which are treatment methods of wastewater of the textile and printing industries. The thesis gives an overview of industrial wastewater treatment to the readers.
