Tiivistelmä
In this thesis a comprehensive overview of the steps required in the development of an electronic commerce website for Ab A.Haggblom Oy was presented. The website was constructed with the PHP programming language and a MySql database. A modern server built out of commodity parts was used as the hardware platform.
Common security solutions like redundant firewalls were used to protect from intruders, also secure communications and a login system was used to prevent unwanted access.
After a comprehensive testing process, the system was deemed functional and reached design expectations. The system is due to come on line in the near future.
