Tiivistelmä
This study investigates strategies and measures that can be laid down for enhancing supply chain resilience during post-pandemics focusing on Kesla Oyj in Joensuu. In recent years the supply chain has steadily become more complicated. It now encompasses a network of interconnected entities, each playing important roles in ensuring the efficient flow of products and services. Methodologically, it will focus on descriptive and inferential approach, based on the response to the questionnaire sent to the logistics department of Kesla Oyj. This was achieved by employing the use of Google Forms and a one-on-one interview to which an audience was granted by the After Sales Manager of Kesla Oyj. Findings highlight multifaceted strategies emphasizing flexibility, analytics, and collaboration. Identified vulnerabilities include limited visibility and supplier dependencies among others. Considering this, Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) tracking, and blockchain are recommended technologies for real-time monitoring. The research adds to theoretical conversation and provides useful advice for building organizational resilience in changing commercial settings.
