Tiivistelmä
Wärtsilä Ship Power 4-Stroke sales department offers 4-Stroke ship machinery, propulsion and manoeuvring solutions.
When evaluating sales regions and their characters, it is necessary to take in consideration other issues along with the number of quotations. A necessary part of daily work is the communication by email and phone with different partners. Also different kind of solving issues are essential in daily work.
For regional and general evaluation for these issues was developed an email questionnaire for the personnel who do quoting and the evaluation of that questionnaire which is the topic for this thesis. One of the goals was to map the general issues, which appear in all sales areas and try to find possible improvement points. Also the area specific evaluation can be used to evaluate each sales area separately.
This thesis describes how the questionnaire was created and analysed in general and in area specific point of view.
