Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli suorittaa tyyppitesti Visu Kaluste Oy:n uudelle vetokaappiprototyypille SFS-EN 14175-3 standardin mukaisesti. Prototyyppi on keskeinen vaihe kehitysprosessissa, ja sen tarkoituksena on edistää standardoidun ja markkinoille valmiin lopputuotteen syntymistä. Testauksen tavoitteena oli tunnistaa mahdollisia kehityskohteita ja varmistaa, että tuote täyttää standardin vaatimukset.
Tutkimuksessa perehdyttiin vetokaappien käyttötarkoitukseen, SFS-EN 14175-3 -standardin vaatimuksiin sekä tyyppitestauksen toteutukseen. Lisäksi tarkasteltiin kustannustehokkaita ja luotettavia menetelmiä yksittäisen prototyyppimallin testaamiseen. Opinnäytetyön aikana kehitettiin selkeät ohjeet testin suorittamiseksi, ja testituloksia hyödynnettiin vetokaapin suorituskyvyn ja kehitystarpeiden arvioinnissa.
Mittaustulosten perusteella tehtiin johtopäätöksiä kehitysalueista. Näiden havaintojen avulla yritys voi toteuttaa tarvittavat parannukset varmistaakseen tuotteen sertifioinnin ja kilpailukyvyn markkinoilla. The objective of this thesis was to perform a typetest for a new fume cupboard prototype for Visu Kaluste Oy in accordance with the SFS-EN 14175-3 standard. The prototype serves as a crucial phase in the development process, paving the way for a standardized and market-ready final product. The testing process aimed to identify potential areas for improvement and ensure the product meets the requirements of the standard.
The study delved into the intended use of fume cupboards, the requirements of the SFS-EN 14175-3 standard, and the implementation of type testing. In addition, cost-effective and reliable methods for testing an individual prototype model were examined. Clear instructions for conducting the test were developed during the thesis, and the results were used to evaluate the performance and development needs of the fume cupboard.
The measurement results were the basis for drawing conclusions regarding development areas. These insights enable the company to implement necessary improvements to ensure the product’s certification and competitiveness in the market.
