Tiivistelmä
This research looks at how computer courses can help people in their careers. It focuses on a training center in Gujarat, India, called K R Foundation (KRF). Most jobs today need people to have computer skills. Skills like programming, digital marketing, and cybersecurity are important in today’s job market. KRF offers online and classroom computer training programs to help students and professionals improve their job options.
The study uses a model called the TOE framework by Tornatzky and Fleischer (1990), which stands for Technology, Organization, and Environment. This model helps explain how technology, teaching methods, and outside factors, like government rules and job market needs, affect how well computer training programs work.
The research used qualitative methods to gather detailed opinions and experiences from people instead of numbers. Five employees from KRF were interviewed by phone. They talked about the strengths of the courses, challenges students face, and ways to improve them.
The main problems found were lack of good internet, not having the right devices, students struggling to learn on their own, and high costs of courses. Many students from rural areas do not have access to the technology they need. Some have trouble staying motivated while learning online. Others cannot afford the training fees.
The research showed that KRF's programs are helpful but could be better. It suggests using a blended learning approach, which means mixing online lessons with in-person sessions. This would allow students to study at home while also getting help from teachers. It also recommends making courses easier to access on mobile devices, offering scholarships or payment plans, and partnering with companies like Google or Microsoft to improve course quality.
This study shows that computer courses are useful for career development. However, training centers like KRF need to focus on making learning easier, cheaper, and more relevant to job needs. These changes can help more students get better jobs and succeed in today’s digital world.
