This thesis describes the design and implementation of the North Cluster Logistics Tower in a technology company. The aim of this research is to analyze the construction of a new unified logistics organizational model for the company's North Cluster countries, including Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Ireland. The purpose of the new organization is to utilize strategic and operational expertise to improve the performance of all cluster countries.
The theoretical framework is based on theories of organizational development and change management, such as organizational theory and the models of Lewin and Kotter. The research employed a qualitative approach, including interviews, observations, and data analysis.
The study showed that the implementation of the North Cluster Logistics Tower improved the company's supply chain efficiency and competitiveness. Collaboration and communication improved, resulting in positive changes to the organizational culture. The centralized logistics model led to reduced transportation costs and better delivery times, reinforcing theoretical frameworks and highlighting the importance of a well-designed logistics strategy.
