Unlocking global value : a business-driven AI implementation and management framework

Abstract

Implementing AI within an organizational structure is often the most challenging aspect of AI adoption. While numerous studies and research focus on AI, the majority concentrate on topics outside of implementation. To address this gap, a model for the AI implementation process and supporting framework was developed for the case company, Company X. Theoretical research and relevant case examples were employed in which various tools were utilized in forming this unified creation, with the most notable being thematic interview studies and design science methodology. Additionally, methods from outside academia, such as comprehensive workshops, were effectively incorporated to utilize previous anecdotal experience.

Ultimately, a common methodology for the supporting framework and implementation process was generated for future use by Company X. This model can now be utilized in any future AI implementation cases of Company X or any companies facing the same challenges.
