This thesis explores the market potential for a cat café “Catemaran” , offering specialized coffee, a variety of teas and snack menu in the Arabia district of Helsinki. The research is designed to assess the demand for the Catemaran cat café, identify target demographics and measure customers' willingness to pay a premium price for a cat café experience. The study is conducted in Arabia region in Helsinki due to its vibrant history, coffee café culture and the proximity to several well-known educational institutes such as Aalto University’s School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Arcada University of Applied Sciences, and Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Arabia’s population consists of students from various nationalities and professionals working in different business establishments.
