The competitive video game sector named "esports" currently represents a thriving international busi-ness that generates benefits for technology systems alongside social structures and economic systems. The worldwide popularity of esports has generated both financial support and institutional partner-ship because it offers people two distinct opportunities - career options and entertainment value. The esports industry maintains limited development in Gujranwala Pakistan among other underdeveloped regions. The purpose of this study was to analyse the multiple obstacles blocking esports development within the selected region.
This study examined five major elements that provide substantial impediments to the growth of es-ports in Gujranwala: The development of esports in Gujranwala faces major obstacles from poor train-ing facilities and health issues in addition to limited investment and a lack of sponsorship and gender disparities. The research gathered information from preliminary surveys together with academic and industrial literature to select the most critical obstacle factors. The construction of a durable esports ecosystem needs these essential basic requirements. Female gamers face fewer entries into games than males because gender-based prejudices exist in both cultural and traditional customs. Long dura-tions of gaming sessions create wellness issues which demand proper attention. Transformation facili-ties show a two-fold shortcoming between inadequate regional infrastructure and inadequate coach resources required to develop abilities. Limited sponsorships and inadequate event funding prevent organizations from developing talent and creating events.
These variables offer an all-encompassing perspective to study the various barriers that affect esports expansion in Gujranwala. The designed analysis used structured questionnaires to collect extensive data from Gujranwala's gaming community and esports supporters and industry participants. Integrat-ed question surveys enabled to conduct qualitative data collection about local gaming participants and esports professionals along with industry representatives. This research method was used to in-vestigate attitudes, obstacles and challenges facing the growth in esports.
The research developed location-specific guidance through sector-specific recommendations to better address regional conditions of development. Research findings aim to direct financial assistance to political figures alongside educational institutions, business stakeholders and community leaders who wish to establish extensive esports framework development in Gujranwala. The research results are used to develop a sustainable esports infrastructure to support national esports development and regional progress.
