Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoitus on tutkia, suunnitella ja toteuttaa ISO 14001 -standardin sekä Ekokompassin vaatimukset täyttävä ympäristöjärjestelmä infra-alan yritykselle. Ympäristöjärjestelmä toimii työkaluna yrityksen ympäristöasioiden hallinnassa sekä osoittaa yrityksen panostavan ympäristöasioihin ja halun kehittää omaa toimintaa. Sen lisäksi järjestelmä tehostaa yrityksen toimintaa taloudellisesti sekä luo positiivista kuvaa yrityksestä ja parantaa kilpailukykyä.
Opinnäytetyössä tutkitaan perusteellisesti infra-alan ympäristönäkökohtia, vaatimuksia, haasteita sekä alan kehitystä ympäristöasioissa. Olennaista on tunnistaa yrityksen nykytilanne ympäristöasioissa, sekä asettaa selkeät tavoitteet ja suunnitelmat, joilla kehitetään yrityksen toimintaa.
Opinnäytetyön tuloksena KPH Infra Oy on saanut käyttöönsä toimivan ja sertifioidun ympäristöjärjestelmän. Lisäksi opinnäytetyön prosessin aikana muodostui selkeä kuva infra-alan keskeisistä luonteenpiirteistä, haasteista sekä ongelmakohdista. The reason for this thesis is to examine, design and create an ISO 14001 - standard eligible environmental management system for infra sector companies. Ems is a tool for companies to control environmental aspects and it shows that companies delve into environmental aspects and are willing to develop their own act. Besides that, the system will help the company to improve cost-efficiency, create a positive image to the company and improve competitiveness.
In the thesis, the environmental aspects, terms and development of the infrastructure sector are thoroughly investigated. The main thing is to recognize the company’s cur-rent situation in the environmental aspects and set clear plans and goals to develop the company’s act.
The result of the thesis KPH Infra Oy has implemented a functional and certified environmental management system. Also, the thesis process provided a clear understanding of the main points, challenges and problem areas in the infrastructure sector.
