Tiivistelmä
This thesis explores the sustainability management process in the beauty industry by analyzing three companies: a luxury brand, a mass-market brand, and a natural ingredient focused company. The study uses a consistent framework to analyze publicly available sustainability and annual reports.
The theoretical foundation includes concepts such as corporate social responsibility, supply chain, transparency, innovation, and competitive advantage through sustainability.
Findings show that while all three companies aim for sustainability, their strategies differ based on business models, such as green technology, local sourcing, or natural ingredients. This suggests that sustainability requires flexible, context-specific approaches.
The research emphasizes the importance of transparent reporting, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration to support long-term sustainable growth in the beauty industry.
