Tiivistelmä
This study explores the workplace culture of NIC Asia Bank Ltd., one of Nepal's leading commercial banks, within the context of the evolving banking sector. Amid increasing competition, technological advancement, and regulatory reforms, maintaining a healthy organizational culture has become essential for employee satisfaction and institutional success. The research investigates how various elements of organizational culture—including communication, leadership, motivation, stress, and inclusivity—impact employee performance, satisfaction, and well-being. Utilizing a qualitative research approach supported by structured interviews, surveys, and observations, the study gathers insights from employees at all organizational levels. Key findings reveal that while most employees express moderate satisfaction with the workplace environment, significant issues such as high stress levels, limited career growth, inconsistent recognition, and work-life imbalance persist. The study identifies both strengths and gaps in the current culture and concludes with actionable recommendations to improve leadership communication, enhance training and reward systems, and foster a more inclusive and balanced work environment. This research contributes to the broader understanding of workplace dynamics in Nepal’s banking sector and offers practical insights for organizational development.
