This thesis presents the development of a virtual reality (VR) game that simulates a city environment where players engage in simple, yet engaging missions designed to raise awareness about climate change and its effects. Through interactive gameplay, players learn about the impact of heat waves on cities and discover how small, strategic changes can significantly improve urban resilience. The game aims to educate and inspire action by demonstrating how individual efforts contribute to a more sustainable and liveable urban future. By leveraging VR’s immersive capabilities, the project seeks to enhance engagement and understanding, making climate education more accessible and impactful.
