Nature has served as a source of inspiration for humans for decades. Biomimicry is the imitation and application of natural organisms to solve humanity’s challenges. The objective of this thesis was to investigate the concept of biomimicry, its principles, and how its practical applications. Additionally, the thesis examined the definition of artificial intelligence, its current applications, and potential future developments.
The thesis was written as a literature review, utilizing non-fiction, scientific publications, and articles were used in a variety of ways. The aim was to develop a comprehensive understanding of how biomimicry and artificial intelligence can complement each other. The emphasis was placed on theoretical knowledge and the distinctive features that exemplified their interaction. The research methods included data-based analysis and comparative analysis.
The findings indicated that the integration of biomimicry into various fields could effectively be supported by artificial intelligence. Generative artificial intelligence makes it possible to create innovative solutions inspired by nature.
