Tiivistelmä
Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda yleiskielinen ja helposti ymmärrettävissä oleva pikaopas ajalla 1.4.2025–31.3.2028 voimassa olevasta matkailu-, ravintola- ja vapaa-ajan palveluita koskevasta työntekijöiden työehtosopimuksesta.
Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa käsitellään Suomen työlainsäädännön aihealueita, kuten työsopimuslakia, vuosilomalakia ja työehtosopimusta, jotka määrittävät laajalti suomalaista työelämää ja sen säädöksiä. Aineistonkeruumenetelmänä opinnäytetyössä käytettiin haastatteluita, joiden avulla kartoitettiin matkailu-, ravintola- ja vapaa-ajan palveluita koskevan työntekijöiden työehtosopimuksen teemoja, joita huomioitiin pikaoppaan sisällön rakentamisessa. Haastateltavana oli kolme entistä matkailu- ja ravitsemisalalla vuosia työskennellyttä henkilöä.
Haastatteluiden avulla saatiin kartoitettua näkemys pikaoppaan sisällön tarpeista ja teemoista. Haastatteluissa selvinneiden teemojen avulla, ja työehtosopimusta ja työlainsäädäntöä tulkitsemalla, rakennettiin työntekijän MaRaVa TES pikaopas. The aim of this practice-based thesis was to create a plain-language and easily understandable quick guide for the collective labor agreement for employees in the tourism, restaurant, and leisure services sector, covering the period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2028.
The theoretical part of the thesis reviews topics related to Finnish labor law such as the Employment Contracts Act, the Annual Holidays Act and collective agreement, which broadly define the regulations and practices of working life in Finland. The data collection method used in the thesis was interviews. Interviews helped to identify key themes of the collective agreement relevant to tourism, restaurant, and leisure services sector. These themes were included when constructing the content of the quick guide. Three individuals with years of experience working in the tourism and restaurant industry were interviewed.
The interviews provided a perspective on the needs and themes for the quick guide’s content. Based on the themes that appeared from the interviews, and through interpretation of the collective agreement and labor legislation, the MaRaVa Collective Agreement quick guide for employees was created.
