Tiivistelmä
Agro-tourism, often referred to as agricultural tourism or farm tourism. The main goals of this study were to find out what agro-tourism is like now, contribution to income generation in rural places make money, and what stops it from growing. This study used both quantitative and qualitative methods. It was based on the idea of a mixed-methods study. The study was done on three key regions in Nepal Kathmandu Valley, Chitwan, and Pokhara. These regions have been selected based on their agricultural potential, existing tourism infrastructure, and observable interest in agro-tourism activities. The study does not aim to represent the entire country or include regions where agro-tourism is absent or extremely underdeveloped. According to our study agro-tourism could be a big part of Nepal's rural transformation if it is supported and controlled in a way that helps everyone. It could also be a model for other developing countries that want to find a balance between tourism, culture, and agriculture.
