Tiivistelmä
This thesis explores and redefines the concept of beauty by developing a conceptual beauty brand that represents fluidity, hybridity, and futuristic aesthetics. It is a fusion of opposing elements, that emphasise inner beauty and personal identity. The purpose is to encourage a deeper reflection about who we are, where we come from and what defines us. The brand is influenced by the Greek and Finnish culture, two distinct worlds that raise the question for a potential common ground between them. The brand challenges traditional beauty norms, embracing an ethereal, fluid, and otherworldly identity. The method used during the process is practice based research combined with theoretical research, interviews and survey. At the end of the project, the final products and beauty persona are showcased to visualise the philosophy of the brand. The models are built and sculpted in 3D software and later used as part of the brand’s profile and promotional material. This thesis objective holds value for further exploration within the beauty or creative industry.
