The purpose of this thesis was to create an updated business plan for Tmi Tuisku Laine, a small company providing craniosacral therapy for humans and animals. The aim was to expand the company’s operations by introducing physiotherapy services and to examine the legal, operational, and financial aspects of this development.
The thesis was carried out as a practice-based project. Business planning tools such as SWOT analysis, business model canvas, and market analysis were used to assess the company’s current situation and opportunities for growth. Based on this analysis, a plan for integrating physiotherapy services was developed.
The results showed that the expansion can be implemented with minimal financial investment by utilizing existing facilities and equipment and through possible partnerships. The integration of physiotherapy was found to enhance the company’s service offering, strengthen professional credibility, and support business growth.
In conclusion, the thesis provided a practical framework for expanding physiotherapy services within Tmi Tuisku Laine and offers guidance for future implementation and development.
