Tiivistelmä
This study aims to explore the multi-cuisine restaurants in Finland and their impact on food culture, consumer behaviour, and cultural integration. In the past, Finnish food was mostly traditional but today many people enjoy food from different part of the word. This change has come because of immigration, globalization, and people interest in trying new flavours.
To understand this, an online survey with people and interviews with five restaurants were used in the research. The survey showed the customers like the multi-cuisine restaurants because of the variety, authentic flavours and enjoyable experiences and restaurants owners explained that their main challenges are finding authentic ingredients, keeping quality in different cuisines and training staff.
