In this research was mainly aimed to get answers for following questions of the study; What is the Impact of Sustainable Packaging Solutions on Cost Reduction in Finland’s Retail Sector. And there were two more sub questions as follows; What is the Impact of different Sustainable Packaging Solutions on Cost Reduction in Finland’s Retail Sector, what are the challenges which could hinder the sustainable Packaging Solutions on Cost Reduction in Finland’s Retail Sector.
To begin with, we prepared the ground by ensuring that the larger sustainability issues are presented, followed by a combination of surveys, PESTEL analysis and SWOT analysis, and reviewing of company data to come up with a clear picture of how customers feel and what business challenges they face.
The results have indicated that majority of the respondents favour the use of biodegradable and recycled packaging because they agree that the practice is cheaper. Nonetheless, all this is impeded by some barriers, such as increased material costs, supply-chain limitations, and cumbersome regulations. To overcome this, we suggest a development plan that will establish a relationship with the suppliers and enhance the favour of customers and employees by effectively communicating, providing specific training, and system of rewards. Finally, we also point out the willingness of the S Group to increase sustainable operations and recommend continuous monitoring, open-door communication and adaptability to guarantee success in the future. All in all, sustainable packaging becomes an efficient approach to both economic and reputation savings of the firm.
