The objective of this Bachelor's Thesis is to acquire and analyze the information of bidirectional material flows, especially the present volume of cargo and future trends. The main emphasis is on Ports of Kokkola and Pietarsaari and the Central Ostrobothnia region.
The Bachelor's Thesis is connected with the Kokkolan Autoilijat Oy's vision and development project. Earlier finds, reports and predictions are used as a starting point and as materials of the Thesis. The Bachelor's Thesis is basically research and find project. The results of the material flow situations and future trends are presented as calculations, graphically, and verbally.
