Näkökulmia tv-draamasarjan kuvausten työtunteihin

Abstract

Tämä opinnäytetyö esittelee näkökulmia tv-draamasarjan kuvausten työtunteihin. Opinnäytetyössäni käydään läpi minkälaiset pelisäännöt laki ja työehtosopimus luovat ajankäytölle, miten raha vaikuttaa työaikaan, mihin aika käytännössä kuluu kuvauksissa, ja lopuksi mikä vaikutus työajalla on työntekijään terveyteen. Työtä varten haastateltiin Moskito Televisionin tuottaja Tarja Ahavaa, Production Housen tuottajaa Liisa Akimofia ja Temen tiedottajaa Anne Saveljeffia.

Uusi työehtosopimus palvelee enenevissä määrin jaksotyöjärjestelmän käyttöönottoa, joka mahdollistaa työtuntien epäsäännöllisen jakautumisen. Kahdeksan ja kymmenen tunnin kuvauspäivien suurin budjetillinen ero ei ole työntekijöiden palkassa vaan päiväkohtaisissa menoissa kuten kalustovuokrissa, joista maksetaan päiväkohtaisesti. Kovien vuokrakustannusten johdosta kuvauspäivien käyttöaste pyritään maksimoimaan. Pitkillä työpäivillä on ainoastaan negatiivisia vaikutuksia työntekijän terveyteen.

Huolellinen ennakkosuunnittelu vaikuttaa työtuntien käyttöön ja laatuun. Työntekijän tulee tuntea oikeutensa, jotta työtuntien käytössä tapahtuisi kehitystä.

This thesis introduces some points of view to the work hours used in drama series shootings. The following themes are discussed in this this thesis: the ground rules the law and the collective agreement set for the use of time, how money affects working time, how time is spent in shootings and finally what effect working hours have on the employees’ health. Moskito Televisions drama producer Tarja Ahava, Production Houses executive producer Liisa Akimof and the spokeswoman of the Union of theater and media employees’ Anne Saveljeff were interviewed to provide additional material for the thesis.

The new collective agreement serves the use of period-based work, which allows the work hours to be divided irregularly. The biggest difference in the budget between eight-hour and ten-hour shooting days does not come from the salary of the employees instead the rental costs of the equipment of which one must pay a daily rate. Because of the high costs it is customary to use the full length of the shooting day.

Careful pre-planning and the producers’ ability to balance out the budget and the pro-duction’s content have an influence on the use and quality of the work hours. Employees have to know their rights in order to be able to influence development in the use of working hours.
