En webbapplikation för Pargas stad : Utveckling och implementering av ett användargränssnitt

Abstract

Examensarbetet beskriver utvecklandet och implementeringen av designen till en webbapplikation till Pargas stad, med hjälp av Drupal 7, Drupalmoduler och med kodspråket CSS. Applikationens uppgift är att förbättra informationsflödet mellan lokala företag, ortsbor och turister. Applikationen förser användaren med information om företagens geografiska läge, uppehållstider samt kontaktuppgifter. Även nyheter, arbetsplatsannonser, aktiviterer och tidtabeller för bussar, färjor samt tåg finns i applikationen. Applikationens uppgift är att få ortsborna att handla hos de lokala företag och inte gå till de stora butikskedjorna. Examensarbetet förklarar processen från designutkast till implementering till applikationen med hjälp av Drupal 7, Drupalmoduler och med kodspråket CSS. Examensarbetet förklarar också motiveringarna bakom de val jag gjort angående designen och navigeringen. Slutprodukten av examensarbetet är designen och navigeringen till webbapplikationen för Pargas stad. Målet med designen och navigeringen var att göra en lätt använd webbapplikation, där användaren lätt kan lägga till material eller hitta information hen söker. Resultatet är en användarvänlig applikation som gör att man gärna fortsätter att använda applikationen.

This thesis describes the development, implementation and design of a web application for the town of Pargas, with the help of Drupal 7, Drupal 7 modules and with the code language CSS. The application provides information about the geological location, opening hours and contact information of local companies. News, job advertisements, activities, timetables for buses, ferries and trains are also provided. The mission of this application is to improve the communication and make the citizens of Pargas choose local companies instead of the big brands. This thesis describes the process of starting with a design draft and how to implement it to the application with the help of Drupal 7, Drupal 7 modules and with the code language CSS. The thesis also explains the choices I have made with the design and the navigation. The final product is an easy-to-use web application for the town of Pargas. The mission of the design and the navigation is to make the application user-friendly, so that the user easily can add material or find information. The result of this is a user-friendly application which will retain its users.
