Meidän perhe - Uusperhe : uuden ryhmämallin kehittämistyö Raision perhepalveluille

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli vertaistukiryhmän suunnittelu ja toteutus yhdessä Raision perhepalveluiden sosiaalityöntekijän sekä psykologin kanssa uusperheiden vanhemmille. Ryhmätoiminnan tavoitteina oli, että ryhmään osallistuvat löytäisivät voimavaroja ja konkreettisia työkaluja elämäänsä toiminnallisten menetelmien sekä keskustelun avulla. Työssä tutustuttiin kirjallisuuteen sekä tutkittiin aiempia opinnäytetöitä. Opinnäytetyö aloitettiin talvella 2017 suunnittelemalla vertaistukiryhmää syksylle 2017. Toteutus ei kuitenkaan onnistunut, sillä ilmoittautumisia ei saapunut lainkaan. Päätin kuitenkin hyödyntää jo olemassa olevaa suunnitelmaa ja kehittää siitä mallin vertaistukiryhmästä, joka olisi toteuttavissa myöhemmin. Opinnäytetyöprosessin aikana STEA myönsi rahoitusta Suomen Uusperheiden Liitolle hankkeeseen, jossa Raisio on yhtenä pilotointikuntana. Hankkeessa on tarkoituksena kouluttaa työntekijöitä ohjaamaan vertaistukiryhmää uusperheellisille, joten malli varmasti pääsee toteutukseen myöhemmin. Opinnäytetyötä tehdessäni Raisiossa ja lähikaupungeissa ei ollut tarjolla vertaistukiryhmää uusperheellisille, joten opinnäytetyönä kehitetty vertaistukiryhmä malli on ajankohtainen ja sitä olisi tarpeellista kehittää lisää.

The aim of the thesis was to design and implement a peer support team together with the social worker of Raisio's Family Services and the psychologist for parents of new families. The purpose of the group activity was to find the participants in the group find resources and concrete tools through their functional methods and discussion. The thesis was introduced to the literature and studied previous theses. The thesis was started in winter 2017 by planning a peer support group in autumn 2017. However, implementation did not succeed because there were no sign-ups at all. However, I decided to use the existing plan and to develop a model of peer support that would be implemented later. During the thesis process, STEA provided funding to the Suomen Uusperheiden liitto for a project where Raisio is one of the pilot cities. The purpose of the Project is to train the employees to guide the peer support team to the newcomers, so the model will certainly be implemented later. There was no peer support team available to stepfamilies in Raisio and nearby cities, so the peer support team developed as a bachelor's thesis is current and should be further developed.
