Tiivistelmä
Detta examensarbete har gjorts enligt uppdrag av Ab Wi-Bo metall Oy. Företaget är ett metallföretag beläget i Kronoby som tillverkar produkter till den marina branschen.
Syftet med detta examensarbete är att hitta ett lämpligt ERP-system för företaget och ge en överblick vad ett ERP-system innebär. Detta arbete är inte direkt riktat till företaget som arbetet görs åt, även andra små och medelstora företag som planerar att implementera ett ERP-system.
Metoden som används i arbetet är C-CEI metoden utvecklat vid Tammerfors tekniska högskola. Metoden består av tre steg, funktionell-, miljö- och en riskanalys. Med denna metod ska ett företag få fram det prioriterade ERP-systemets kravspecifikationer, beskrivning av verksamhetsmiljön samt en riskanalys. Examensarbetet är gjort med stöd från litteratur som berör ämnet samt egen erfarenhet från företaget.
Resultatet av detta examensarbete är ett lämpligt ERP-system, en bättre syn på verksamhetsmiljön och funktioner i företaget samt en bättre bild av operativa kontrollsystem. This Bachelor’s thesis has been done on behalf of Ab Wi-Bo metall Oy. A metal company located in Kronoby, which manufactures products for the marine industry.
The purpose of this thesis is to find an appropriate ERP-system for the company and to give an overview of what an ERP-system means. This work is not directly targeted at the mentioned company. Other similar small and medium sized companies that plans to implement an ERP-system may benefit from this thesis.
The method used in this work is the C-CEI method developed at the Tampere University of Technology. The method consists of three steps, functional, environmental and a risk analysis. With this method, a company will provide requirement specifications for the prioritized ERP-system, a description of the operating environment and a risk analysis. This thesis work has been done with support from literature related to the subject as well as own experience from the company.
The result of this thesis is a suitable ERP-system, a better view of the operating environment and features of the company as well as a better understanding of operational control systems.
