Tiivistelmä
The thesis was written about the training given to new recruits by the author’s employer and functions as evidence of the author’s workplace learning.
The thesis, written by diary method, has been created to assist with the professional development of the thesis author and to give feedback on the effectiveness of the training for the benefit of the author’s employer.
The finished thesis did not assist with the professional development of the author as much as initially expected. However, the process of writing the thesis fulfilled that purpose. The secondary objective, to give feedback on the effectiveness of the training of new recruits, was achieved by presenting the employer with recommendations based on the thesis work.
