Hoitosuunnitelma : Alisen Rautjärven ympäristö

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on luoda yksityiskohtainen hoitosuunnitelma Alista Rautjärveä ympäröiviin metsiköihin. Evon kampuksen lähellä sijaitsevissa metsissä maisemanhoito on tärkeänä osana metsänkäsittelyä. Hämeen ammattikorkeakoulun toimeksi antamassa työssä järvinäkymän ja metsämaiseman säilyttäminen ovat tärkeässä roolissa. Metsien käsittelyssä metsät säilytetään jatkuvapeitteisinä eikä niihin tehdä avohakkuita.

Suunnittelualueen maan ja metsien käytöstä on kerätty tietoa, joka on huomioitu hoitosuunnitelmaa tehdessä. Lisäksi metsän jatkuvan kasvatuksen teoriaa on hyödynnetty suunnitelmassa soveltaen sitä maisemanhoitoon. Hoitosuunnitelmassa on käytetty vanhan metsäsuunnitelman kuviotietoja hyödyksi ja luotu näille kuvioille yksityiskohtaiset hoito-ohjeet lähitulevaisuuteen. Suunnitelmaan on kirjoitettu lyhyt selostus kuvioiden nykytilasta ja siitä, mihin niissä pyritään pidemmällä aikavälillä.

Hoitosuunnitelman toteutuksen osalta on oltu yhteydessä ELY-keskukseen, joka tarkistaa valmiin suunnitelman toteutettavuuden. Suunnitelman sisältämillä metsänkäsittelyohjeilla on tarkoitus parantaa ja ylläpitää Alisen Rautjärven ympäristön virkistysarvoja. Metsiä kasvatetaan eri-ikäisrakenteisina ja tasaikäisrakenteisista metsiköistä pyritään myös kehittämään eri-ikäisrakenteisia. Jatkossa metsiköiden tilaa on kuitenkin seurattava ja tehtävä uusia toimenpide-ehdotuksia niiden kehityksen mukaan.

The aim of the thesis was to create a detailed forest management plan for the forests surrounding Lake Alinen Rautjärvi. In the forests near the Evo campus, landscaping is an important part of forestry. In the thesis commissioned by Häme University of Applied Sciences, the lake view and the preservation of the forest landscape play an important role. When treating forests, the forests are kept continuous, and no clear cuttings are done to them.

Information on the use of land and forests in the planning area was collected and it was taken into account when making the forest management plan. In addition, the theory of continuous forest rearing has been utilized in the plan, applying it to landscaping. The management plan has used the forest compartment information of the old forest plan and created detailed treatment instructions for these compartments in the near future. A short description of the current state of the forest compartments and what they are intended for in the longer term is written in the plan.

With regard to the implementation of the treatment plan, the ELY Centre was contacted to check the feasibility of the finished plan. The forest management instructions contained in the plan are intended to improve and maintain the recreational values of Lake Alinen Rautjärvi. The forests are grown in varying lengths, and the flat forests are also planned to develop different age structures. In the future, the status of the forests will need to be monitored and new proposals for measures in line with their development must be made.
