Kommenttien pohjalta teimme tarvittavat muutokset.
Jatkokehityksenä voitaisiin tutkia oppaan vaikuttavuutta moduuliharjoittelun ohjaamiseen ja perehdyttämiseen. Jatkossa voitaisiin tutkia myös moduuliharjoittelussa tapahtuvaa oppimista verraten perinteiseen harjoittelumalliin. This thesis was made for Eastern Savo Health Care District Sosteri. The purpose of the thesis was to create a guide for supervisors in multiprofessional clinical education wards. The objective of the thesis was to improve guidance and supervising in multiprofessional clinical education wards. This thesis will provide the supervisors with unified instructions to follow.
Clinical education wards offer education of a higher standard and more learning opportunities than traditional practical training. In multiprofessional collaboration healthcare professionals from different fields work together in order to achieve a higher quality of care. Multiprofessional learning happens when multiple professionals learn from each other and thus create efficient collaboration.
The thesis was made according to product development process. In the innovating phase the product was designed to be a guide which supports student guidance in multiprofessional clinical education wards. In the drafting phase a qualitative web survey was carried out among the students, supervisors and student correspondents who have already been involved with clinical education wards. The contents of the guide are based on theoretical information and the qualitative web survey. The guide includes information about learning, familiarization, guidance, student evaluation and giving feedback. In the developing phase the student correspondents were sent a draft version to receive feedback about the guide. Based on the feedback the necessary changes were made on the guide.
The impact of this guide on the guidance and introduction within multiprofessional clinical education wards could be researched. Furthermore, the learning process in multiprofessional clinical education wards compared to traditional practical training could also be studied.
