ProDiag ja älykäs diagnostiikka automaatiossa

Abstract

Tässä opinnäytetyössä käytiin läpi Siemens TIA Portal -automaatio-ohjelmiston Simatic ProDiag-lisäosan ominaisuudet. Työssä esitellään, miten ProDiag-ominaisuuksia käytettiin kahdessa erilaisessa automaatioprojektissa. Lisäksi lisäosan tuomien ominaisuuksien käyttämisestä suunnittelussa tehtiin käyttöohje.

”Case 1” -projektina oli pakkauskoneiston uudelleen automatisointi. Laitteeseen vaihdettiin uusi Sie-mens S7-1500 -sarjan logiikka sekä käyttöliittymäksi WinCC Comfort -sarjan käyttöpaneeli. Laitteen diagnostiikassa pyrittiin käyttämään ProDiag-lisäosan tuomia monitorointeja mahdollisuuksien mukaan. Merkittävin etu saatiin ProDiag-lisäosan tuomista näyttöobjekteista. ProDiag-lisäosan ”PLC co-de view” -objekti mahdollistaa ohjelmakoodin näyttämisen käyttöpaneelilla, jolloin vikatilanteiden aiheuttajat saadaan selville nopeasti.

”Case 2” -projektissa ProDiag-ominaisuuksia testattiin prosessiautomaatiovalvomossa. Käyttöliittymä oli tällä kertaa WinCC Professional PC-valvomo. ProDiag-lisäosaa käytettiin tässä projektissa vain mahdollistamalla toimilaitelukituksien ja ohjaussekvenssien näyttäminen valvomossa. Tämän projektin yhteydessä selvitettiin hyödyllisiä WinCC professional -version C Script -funktioita ProDiag-lisäosan ”PLC code view” -näyttöobjektin liittämiseksi logiikan dataan.

Työn tuloksena ProDiag-lisäosan ominaisuuksien käytöstä saatiin kattava ohje muille Apex Automati-on -yrityksen automaatiosuunnittelijoille. Lisäksi yritykselle saatiin kokemusta lisäosasta käytännössä, jonka yhteydessä ominaisuudet tulivat tutummaksi myös asiakkaille.

This thesis researchedthe features of the TIA Portal expansion of Simatic ProDiag. The paper cites two different automation projects where the properties of the expansion were used. During these projects, an instruction manual was compiledof the usage of the properties the Simatic ProDiag brings with it.

“Case 1” project was a modernization ofthepackaging machine. TheoldPLC was replaced with modern Siemens S7-1500 series controllerand the user interface was changed to Comfort series HMI device. ProDiag supervisions were used to create apart of the diagnostic events. The most significant improvement that the ProDiag feature allows arethe display objects it enables. ProDiag feature PLC code viewallows parts of the program code to be shown at the operating panel for direct observation offaults.

In ”Case 2” project, ProDiag features were tested on a process automation control room. This project had a WinCC Professional PC user interface. PLC code viewfeature was used to able device’s interlock conditions and control sequences to be shown on the monitoring PC. During this project, it was necessary to research C script functions to connect the PLC code view object to the requested PLC code.

As a side result of the projects, manual for ProDiag features was created to be used by the company’s other engineers. Additionally, the company acquired experience of the ProDiag in practice and the fea-ture was introduced for the customers.
