Tiivistelmä
This developmental project will introduce a generic structure for a lesson plan which can either be used in its present form or manipulated as required, to suit the lecturer, material or target group. It is in many respects to be considered as a template and a platform for future development, dialogue and creation of an improved product. Terms used within the lesson plan such as objectives, reference material contact hours etc. will not be new to educators. What is introduced is a structure in which to organize objectives, topics, support material in such a way to be initially, easily accessed and later, easily traceable when adjusting material for any reason. It is accepted when planning and executing courses that reference material must be occasionally updated or replace entirely. This lesson plan will aid the lecturer in identifying where precisely within the lesson the material is located, to which objective or topic it addresses and whether elements of the reference material are examined. This lesson plan is intended to be more than a simple aid to a lecturer or teacher. It is designed to help support any institutes adopted management system. It will aid in implementation of the institutes policy, help monitor and measure the processes against the objectives and provide for continual improvement of performance of the management system.
