Tiivistelmä
Lukuvuonna 2005 - 2006 Humanistinen ammattikorkeakoulu tarjosi lehtoreilleen mahdollisuuden osallistua mentorointi-koulutukseen. Inthe Academic Year 2005-2006 Humak The University of Applied Sciences offered teachers the possibility to participate mentor training. The studies were one way to develop counselling methods in Humak. All participants had to create a developing task. The goal for the tasks was to develope possibilities how to use mentoring in counselling. In the end of the studies the tasks were introduced to the others. Five developing tasks were about student counselling. The main focus of this research was to look at the ideas of the lectures how they use mentoring in student counselling. In the data there were also specified questions for the informants. The goal of the research was to collect ideas of the reports and to create the mentoring models based on the ideas. All the ideas were different. The differences between the ideas were timing of mentoring and how the mentoring was provided. The five ideas are called: collecting the experiences, participating the working life, double mentoring, schedule of mentoring and shared mentoring. In the data the mentoring counselling was seen in the cases where a student anda person from working life were in contact. Previous research supports this kind of mentoring. Mentoring counselling was seen not seen as a tool for a student and a lecture. That was because student and teacher could not be seen equal partners. But if we adapt the models there can be a critical friendship between student and lecture.
