IT-Apu wants to change the IT service model and make a new business idea with a mobile application, that is a computer program or software application designed to run on mobile device such as a mobile phone or tablet. With this App you can implement to different work, not only for IT service (for example cleaning companies and so on).
This thesis started in December 2017. The journey has been long and there has been chal-lenges on the way. Under this process a lot of things have happened. The start-up company IT-Apu Service Oy was established 09 / 2019 and is located in Loviisa and Porvoo. The highlight is the partnership with LPOnet that started in Oktober 2019.
The theoretical part is focusing on the PESTEL analyse. Based from PESTEL analysis ex-ternal factors have been identified and from these the company has given some sugges-tions to get more customers and to secure the internet traffic at IT-Apu servers.
The outcome of this thesis was to help the new company and make the road not so bumpy. IT-Apu has got a lot of information, and the testing part has helped the company to choose what programs and plugins to use for the website, and for the server what virtual environ-ment IT-Apu could use that their servers are secure and can stay online for 24/7. IT-Apu is now using these tested products at its servers. IT-Apu have also moved the serv-ers to LPOnet server house and they are getting installed in the new IT-Apu server rack.
The deal with LPOnet is the first step and it will be analysed thoroughly. When IT-Apu is making the next partnership with a new company it will have all information to close that deal successfully.
