Tiivistelmä
The role of packaking in production, supply chain, and logistics is indisputable, especially when the consuming economy develops with rising demands of commercial goods. Because of such an important role, having an efficient packaking system in vital in the operation of a manufacturer and even essential when the Lean Manufacturing method is employed. The Packaking Standarization oppurtunity with considerations of efficiency and cost reduction possibility of the Lean Manufacturer Schneider Electric Manufacturing Vietnam Plant.
The Packaking Standarization Project in Schneider Electric Manufacturing plant was implemented using Part Standarization in search of the packaking system's simplifying possibility. The study aims to highlight standarization as a useful tool in improving the Lean manufacturer in teams of the efficiency of the production's supply chain and cost reduction. The study of the Packaking Standarization project allows one to identify standard packaking among a group of packaking with a high potential of standarization. The paper also considered the sustainable development and other additional incognito benefits in terms of inventory, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing Management gained through the application of packaking standarization of the manufacturer.
In conclusion, given many benefits in the efficiency of the manufacturing supply chain, together with specific cost reductions, the Packaking Standarization Project has shown positive meanings and potential impacts of the part Standarization current and future operation of the Lean Manufacturer SEMV plant.
