5S – järjestelmän käyttöönotto Finn-Marinin venetehtaan esikokoonpanossa

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli 5S-järjestelmän käyttöönotto Finn-Marinin Kalajoen tehtaan esikokoonpanossa. 5S-järjestelmän keskeisenä tavoitteena oli poistaa kaikki turhat tavarat ja saattaa jäljelle jääneet tarpeelliset tavarat ja tila parhaiten työntekoa tukevaan järjestykseen. Tämän jälkeen paikat siivottiin ja luotiin toimintamallit, joiden avulla saavutetut halutun mukaiset järjestys ja siisteystaso säilytettiin pysyvästi ja huolehdittiin sovittujen toimintamallien vakiinnuttamisesta ja ylläpitämisestä.

Finn-Marinin tuotanto- ja varastotiloihin oli vuosien mittaan kertynyt runsaasti sinne kuulumattomia tarvikkeita ja työkaluja mikä näkyi tuottavuuden laskuna, pidensi tuotteiden läpimenoaikaa ja sai tilat vaikuttamaan todellista ahtaammilta. Tilannetta lähdettiin osaltaan parantamaan tehtaan esikokoonpanon 5S:n käyttöönotolla, josta toivottiin saatavan hyvä esimerkki järjestelmän laajentamisessa tehtaan muille osastoille.

The purpose of this thesis was to introduce the 5S-system in the pre-assembly of Finn-Marin Kalajoki factory. The main goal of the 5S-system was to eliminate all unnecessary goods and to put the remaining necessary goods and surroundings in the order best suitable to work. Thereafter, the sites were cleaned up and operating models created to maintain the desired order and cleanliness level and to ensure that agreed operating models were established and maintained.

Over the years, the production and warehousing facilities of Finn-Marin had accumulated a large amount of unnecessary supplies and tools, which was reflected in a fall in the productivity and in longer product lead times. Moreover, the large amount of supplies and tools made the premises seem crowded. The company started to improve the situation by introducing the 5S in the pre-assembly, which was hoped to serve asa good example of extending the system to other parts of the factory.
