Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyö käsittelee motorisen toiminnan tukemista inklusiivisessa varhaiskasvatuksessa. Opinnäytetyön aihe on toiminnallinen kehittämistehtävä. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin yhteistyössä Huhtasuon päiväkodin kanssa Jyväskylässä. Huhtasuon päiväkoti on osa Jyväskylän kaupungin toteuttamaa varhaiskasvatusta.
Menetelmäkansio on tehty Huhtasuon päiväkodin tarpeiden mukaiseksi, joten sitä ei julkaista raportin mukana, Theme on this thesis in how to support motor activity in inclusive in inclusive early childhood education. The significance of motor activity in early childhood education describes the developmental stages and challenges of motor skills and ways to support the motor development.
The outcome of the development task is a resource bank. The resource bank contains methods to support motor activity. The methods consists non-competitive games and practices. Each activity is presented with a method, motor skills to practice, practical tips to aid the implementation and list of the materials required for the activity. The resource bank is organized by locations for the activities. Locational activities are divided up by basic motor skills. The final part of the resource bank includes practices developing observational skills and tips for creating an activity course that supports motor activity development.
The resource bank supports the planning, implementation, evaluating and observation of physical education. The resource bank supports also the implementation of the Huhtasuo Day Care Physical Activity Plan, as the resource bank has the same basic motor skills as the Huhtasuo Day Care Physical Activity Plan.
